I found her songs accidentally when I was on my trip back home. Lately I’ve been trying to search for her albums in some music stores in Jakarta yet found none. Thanks to a friend in Canada (she’s a Canadian singer), he was able to find the songs for me. :)

Jill Barber has this smooth classic jazzy voice that makes songs sounds like a 50’s productions, with the dreamy ambiance in most of the songs. Almost of all the songs have a Love theme, and “Oh My My”, from the album “Chances”, is the first favorite song of her that I like.

Her song “A Wish Under My Pillow” from her new album “Mischievous Moon” also a nice tune to listen to. Not a song for a downer, though. it might lead you to self pitying, so I reccommend you to have a healthy feeling and heart before listening to her songs :p

I like this song. I don’t like to hear it over and over again, though. It is sad and sounds depressing, but I find beauty in Adele’s voice singing it. Well, one can’t make you love the other if they don’t. But one can still opt to love anyway..
