An Item of my Bucket List

I am a dreamer. I dream a lot of things. To be able to travel to the corners of the earth, to acquire trivial yet challenging skills, to gain knwoledge on subjects I am so interested into…basically, do everything I want to do, and enabling myself on reaching them.

With so many plans and excitements in life, I need to write down all the list in a special note. I keep myself a bucket list to track the progress. The note is pretty helpful as a reminder for me to keep going and work on the dreams

Slowly and steadily sure, I checked some of the items already. one of them was ticked yesterday.

Finally I decided to join the Diving Course, and I finished it throughout the weekend. Lots of energy and I was (still am) quite exhausted. 4 dives in only 2 days, 3 evening classes, and an exam. it’s a speedy.

I am happy. Several times I keep thinking back and forth if I should join the course or not, will I dive a lot in the future, etc. Yet, if I don’t do it, when will I do it in the future? and after I got rid all of my doubts, I found myself happy. I’m drawn with the underwater experience.

Well, not a lot you can see under the Matano Lake. Beside its friendly fresh water environment, and some Lohan fishes (and old tires, too), I saw nothing attractive (just yet). It may happened since we only dove around the yacht club. Even so, it didn’t make me less happy.

Sometimes in the future I might plan a dive to Tolala, there are some underwater beauty there lying to discover.

Anyway, what I’m trying to share in this note today is to keep on believing in your dream. write down what things you want to fulfill, keep on working it, and finally, let it go and don’t stress yourself over the list of wishes you have made. Eventually, it will happen. At least, it’s happening in my case :)

xoxo

start the day with Cold Play

well, I gotta say thanks to miss DWD aka Deviana Wijaya Dewi aka DDD (lol), “Viva La Vida” is a good kick in the morning.

I like listening to this Alternative Rock Band, most of their songs are nicely put and played. Their lyrics and songs are different from many commercial bands these days.

Viva La Vida would be one of their most successful song so far, because it’s different. Soundly, they have orchestra and focus on the strings rather than Piano/guitars like their previous songs.

I remember vaguely when firstly I heard them, I didn’t really like their type of music. It’s not something I found easy to understand. as time passes by, their songs stuck into my head more than before :)

nice fact that I have just found about the vocalist, Chris Martin, is that nor does he drink or smoking. That put him in top 10 hot guys in my list. Not drinking, nor smoking, smart, success, he is quite a man :p

Morover, he’s also one of the vocal supporter of Oxfam, a UK organization that support fair trade. I am a supporter of fair trade myself. I think it’s a good way to develop micro economic and small businesses. being a fair-trade supporter does not make people a socialist, you see. People just exaggerate things a bit much on different perspective other people might have.

so, Viva La Vida and good morning everyone! :)

hilarious is..

when you are cooking fried rice, you’re taking a glass of vodka-cola (mistakenly) instead of cooking oil and pour it into the pan…(thanks for ms.A). LOL.

yesterday’s Hash..

If you follow my other blog, you must know that I join Hash Run (Hash House Harrier) every monday in this so called small town. a very fun activity, it is.

so yesterday’s run was quite something for me. it’s been my fourth times joined the run, but it was my first with a challenging route. quite something.

So it started beside the road heading to Wawondula (satellite town near Soroako). Yesterday’s run wasn’t recommended for kids. I found out why later. as usual, the sceneries along the running path was incredebly beautiful that keeps a non-runner-kinda-type like me always coming every week. we were passing this rice fields for the first 10-15 minutes of our running. after that, comes the difficult part. the hill-climbing attempt while running. it was quite steep and the earth quite slippery. I fell sometimes with my butt kissing the earth! ha. and there was this time I tried to grab some plants beside me since I felt likely to fall, yet I grabbed the thorny one and hurt my arm instead -_-“

beside hurting some skin parts of my body, and finished the running last (like always :p) I am safe, ladies and gentlemen. I could safely finish my run, without losing my body parts.lol

There were some of us who actually quite late reaching the finish point, and some of the earlier runners came back to make sure that we’re okay since it was getting dark already.

I was exhausted, and arms and leg still aching a bit right now, but the run quite fun!

The Circle (Socialization part) after the run yesterday was actually quite fun, too. many virgins (the terms for first runners) joined the session and many more nicknames were given that night.

talking about nickname, I have my Hash Nickname now!

when I did my second run last month, they gave me the nickname ‘Coke Head’ since I poured all the cokes on my head the week before when I drank as the virgin-runner. I know, it has different meanings, but mine’s quite nice, since the others nicknames mostly PG-13 and quite nasty sometimes. it’s hash, and i considered myself lucky. lol

I found this fun quiz on my friend’s tumblr, it’s kinda fun! :)

here’s the link: http://nytimes.visualdna.com/

So they are searching what kind of readers read their posts. I think the definitions that described me above quite amusing, many of them are representing the way I am, I don’t know about the others. still need to confirm it myself :)

overall, it’s fun thing to kill your time especially if your boss is not around, haha!
