hello, everyone! this is the cutest boy i’ve ever seen in Soroako so far. Lucas! he’s cute and adorable! I love this kid, and he’s smart too! :p
this is one of the pics from last monday’s hash run. there was this man using fake butt, too. lolRed Dress Run - an annual event of Hash House Harriers (an international non-competitive running clubs, thanks Wikipedia!). In Sorowako itself, Hash House Harriers held the Red Dress Run on Monday the 14th November 2011 in Sorowako when all men & women ran in red dress. The money was collected to help the local widow with 3 young kids.
From left to right: KM, VD, DWD, DR (I decided to put the initials only as they found this picture as disgraceful)
If you follow my other blog, you must know that I join Hash Run (Hash House Harrier) every monday in this so called small town. a very fun activity, it is.
so yesterday’s run was quite something for me. it’s been my fourth times joined the run, but it was my first with a challenging route. quite something.
So it started beside the road heading to Wawondula (satellite town near Soroako). Yesterday’s run wasn’t recommended for kids. I found out why later. as usual, the sceneries along the running path was incredebly beautiful that keeps a non-runner-kinda-type like me always coming every week. we were passing this rice fields for the first 10-15 minutes of our running. after that, comes the difficult part. the hill-climbing attempt while running. it was quite steep and the earth quite slippery. I fell sometimes with my butt kissing the earth! ha. and there was this time I tried to grab some plants beside me since I felt likely to fall, yet I grabbed the thorny one and hurt my arm instead -_-“
beside hurting some skin parts of my body, and finished the running last (like always :p) I am safe, ladies and gentlemen. I could safely finish my run, without losing my body parts.lol
There were some of us who actually quite late reaching the finish point, and some of the earlier runners came back to make sure that we’re okay since it was getting dark already.
I was exhausted, and arms and leg still aching a bit right now, but the run quite fun!
The Circle (Socialization part) after the run yesterday was actually quite fun, too. many virgins (the terms for first runners) joined the session and many more nicknames were given that night.
talking about nickname, I have my Hash Nickname now!
when I did my second run last month, they gave me the nickname ‘Coke Head’ since I poured all the cokes on my head the week before when I drank as the virgin-runner. I know, it has different meanings, but mine’s quite nice, since the others nicknames mostly PG-13 and quite nasty sometimes. it’s hash, and i considered myself lucky. lol
